#6 Industry
     Manicures and Pedicures

For a woman to be genuinely industrious in a physical nature, she wouldn’t have long, polished fingernails. It’s not sensible. However, it is important to keep nails well groomed. My nails are kept relatively short and unpolished. When my hands become laden with silicone, paint, glue, etc., I clean them off as soon as I can.
Pedicures are easier to maintain for a handywoman. The hardest thing on a polished pedicure is to have your feet sweating in work boots all day long. The friction strips the polish right off. Of course, it’s a small compromise for our industrious actions.

Handiwork requires sensible nails, but toenails can get away with some color.
