Hurricane Ivan took a toll on a homeowner's shed. Wind and floodwaters offset the shed several inches from its concrete pad. One of the doors was torn off and never found. Metal and shingle roofing blew away. The homeowner considered herself fortunate that damage to the shed was the worst her home incurred from Ivan.
Patané partnered with another tradesperson to pull the building back together and to give the homeowner something better than she had before the storm.

The building was repositioned, the framework was fixed and bolted down, then the south side of the building was resheathed with Hardi-Board. The shed door was also rebuilt. Patané assisted with the replication and installation of the door. Photos taken prior to painting.

Tree debris everywhere! Much of the organic debris was processed into mulch and sold overseas.
