Stepping
on board in San Diego to assist with a superyacht’s remodel, Patané
covered projects from cleaning the bilge in the engine room to reupholstering
interior overhead panels. Other work included carpentry, appliance installation,
plumbing, duct work, boat cleaning, expediting and boat maintenance.
Her handiwork led to a crew position for
the yacht's delivery to Costa Rica. She handled projects while underway,
and was involved with watchkeeping and hourly engine room checks. Upon
the yacht's arrival, Patané continued projects with post-delivery
repair work.
