WORKING
WITH WHITE
Creating
new images
Before
I drove west to Texas, I got a digital camera. It was a new tool that
opened creative possibilities. Now I could easily capture so many images
that I couldn’t do before.
While in Dallas, I helped paint a room entirely
white and I was part of the white TPO roofing crew for Thomas
Riccio’s home. With these projects in mind, and the excitement
of my new camera, the Web site became a blank canvas, waiting for the
images that I’d produce.
Web
Site Commentary:
The
majority of images captured were the materials I worked with on a day-to-day
basis or they were nature images from around the house. Most of these
shots were in macro. The Web page header was designed in PhotoShop with
a photo of the galvanized roofing and a close up shot of the chipped paint
on the fence.
