CAMELS, COCO DE MER AND OZ
Tending to the heart

From fledgling to full migratory flight, my travels erased borders and spanned the world. From riding camels under the moonlight in Dubai’s desert, to swimming in the Indian Ocean off of Seychelles, I was taking in as much as my heart desired.

Besides writing in a journal, another form of writing that I practice during my travels is filling out a few postcards. I like to send out just a few cards in select places to people who were on my mind at that time.
Because traveling increases my writing, I can write larger works on bigger trips. When I arrived in Australia for a six-month stay, I had no idea I’d be writing a 40-page report about a national park’s interpretation and information. Being a tourist who was grasping for current and accurate park interpretation, I saw room for improvement; I had an interest to clarify park information. The report’s suggestions are currently being considered for state capital funds. To write is to find something in my heart worth writing about.

Web Site Commentary:
The Web site took on my traveling attitude by going light. Handywoman's Companion was removed and the logo was changed to a more worldly look. The text and project descriptions were briefly summarized.
