OF PLACE
Mindful mobility
Our environment influences our state of mind.
Sometimes we choose to move in order to change the environment, and sometimes
we choose our environment, requiring mobility to get there. In conjunction
with environment, our living conditions influence short and long-term
choices, and we make these adaptations to be at the place we want to be.
I chose to be in San Diego’s maritime climate.
Finding temporary shelter on a yacht started a sea-worthy love affair
that has made the world my oyster. I discovered that crew life and yacht
work are the same as home management and project work for this traveling
handywoman.
